In 1921 Lessee Tobacco Company commissioned the Thornycroft shipyard in Southampton six 30-ton cargo ships for maritime service, as shown in the attached image. I imagine that the designation of "mixed" would make reference to its double drive, sail or motor. For now is all the information I have on these ships. Contributions would be welcome.
